Walk in the footsteps of Gaston Fébus, visiting the 13th and 14th century Château Moncade, witness to the splendour of his court. Follow the astounding story of the Huguenots as reflected in Béarnais and French history in the company of Jeanne d'Albret and her children Catherine of Bourbon and Henri IV at the Musée Jeanne d'Albret.
And now that you are in the very country of fine eating you just have to spend time on local produce! See how cows' cheese is made, the farmer’s daily round, working with sheepdogs and the course enjoying a tasting at the end of your visit. In the evening a regional dinner awaits you at one of our restaurateurs and then to bed at one of our bed and breakfast .....nothing like it for a first rate welcome!
